LM Trophy Spain - 2015

The Spanish Len Mount trophy was held in the coastal resort of Castellon about 60 miles north of Valencia. The weather was perfect - hot, sunny and not much wind - which meant that the flying round would be important to overall ratings.

The competition took place on the local airfield, which during the day was being used for parachuting. This didn't stop the competition but it did provide some additional interest for the spectators. The quality of models was again very high, that included a number of large, turbine powered, helicopters.

The event was run by my friend Felipe Arenas and ably supported by Paqi Mori who kept everyone in check. The winner was Bartolowe Costa Serrs but the scores were very close and anyone could have won. Another lovely event - thanks to everyone who made us so welcome.
